Cadillac Elevated Velocity1 Concept: Pushing the V-Series Into the Electric Future

Cadillac has expanded its concept portfolio with the introduction of the all-electric, high-performance Elevated Velocity1. The new 2+2 crossover channels the spirit of the brand’s V-Series while exploring a future design language that blends on-road performance with off-road capability.
Performance Legacy Meets Electric Ultra-Luxury
The Elevated Velocity1 follows Cadillac’s recent expansion of its V-Series lineup with the LYRIQ-V and OPTIQ-V. It presents a vision of how extreme performance, advanced technologies, and bespoke luxury could evolve within an electric, ultra-luxury crossover format.
The concept is defined by its dual character: a refined and elevated interior environment for daily driving, combined with a lifted chassis engineered for aggressive performance across challenging terrains. This dual-purpose approach inspired its name: Elevated for its sense of refinement, and Velocity for its focus on dynamic performance.
Technology With Purpose
Cadillac has infused the Elevated Velocity1 with advanced technology aimed at enhancing both driving and lifestyle experiences. Selectable user modes transform the car’s character:
- Welcome Mode introduces a dramatic entry sequence with gull-wing doors, illuminated interior surfaces, and animated light signatures.
- Elevate Mode transforms the cabin into an autonomous recovery space, retracting pedals and steering while activating features such as infrared seatback lighting and synchronized ambient effects to optimize occupant well-being.
- Velocity Mode sharpens the driving focus, dimming floor lighting, highlighting performance readouts, and displaying augmented navigation on a cowl-mounted HUD.

Performance Across Terrains
The Elevated Velocity1 explores the future of V-Series performance with drive modes tailored to different environments:
- e-Velocity Mode for intense on-road driving.
- Terra Mode for peak off-road performance with adaptive air suspension.
- Sand Vision for enhanced visibility in desert conditions.
- Elements Defy to repel dust and debris, keeping the exterior pristine.
With its 24-inch wheels, sculptural stance, and dual-purpose platform, the Elevated Velocity1 aims to deliver hypercar-level exhilaration across both asphalt and sand.

Exterior Design Evolution
The concept builds on design language introduced by the CELESTIQ and LYRIQ, with stretched proportions, dramatic surfaces, and a planted stance. Its Vapor Blue finish, with undertones of glacial grey, contrasts sharply against a fiery red interior, while the gull-wing doors and flax fiber–acrylic wheels reinforce its futuristic identity. Cadillac’s signature lighting choreography is reimagined with translucent fluted front elements and tunnel-like rear vertical lighting.

An Elevated Interior Experience
The cabin continues Cadillac’s focus on ultra-luxury with layered materials including leather, boucle fabric, tinted acrylic, and brushed metal. The palette of Morello Red, Cerise, and Garnet shades creates a sense of energy and movement, while bespoke detailing takes inspiration from desert polo. Advanced climate and filtration systems, integrated fragrance, and red light therapy further emphasize the wellness-driven theme of Elevate Mode.
To highlight its lifestyle orientation, the concept even includes a hand-crafted polo set in the rear compartment, finished in Vapor Blue and Morello Red to match the car’s design.

Looking Ahead
The Cadillac Elevated Velocity1 will be presented at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering in Carmel, California, on August 15, 2025. It demonstrates how Cadillac’s design and performance DNA may evolve as the brand continues its transition into an electric and ultra-luxury future.
