Despite being a bit older already, the Veloster, especially in these kind of colors, manages to turn heads left right and center. It has kept up well over time. It was surprisingly ‘out there’ when it first hit the market, but is still very up-to-date and desirable at this time.
The exterior has been updated with the latest Hyundai design identity featured on the front and the rear, and the color and trim has helped to keep the Veloster a modern and interesting alternative. The orange interior touches combined with the choice in material really move it in a much higher perceived category than it really is.
Driving the Veloster over such a distance, we got a large variety of road surfaces and road conditions, and throughout the duration, the Veloster managed to convince us. It was never out of control, never ill at ease and at all times did I feel in control.
Combined with the smooth 6 speed gear box and the right sized engine with good power when needed and smooth cruising when desired, it is a good choice for some nice traveling, surprisingly spacious inside, handily compact outside, sporty and comfortable.
