Meyers Manx and Tuthill Embody Adventure with LFG Debut at The Quail

At The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering during Monterey Car Week 2025, Meyers Manx and rally specialists Tuthill joined forces to unveil the LFG, a daring reimagining of the classic dune buggy built for modern off-road exploration. Limited to just 100 units, this vehicle is as much an invitation to adventure as it is a performance machine.

The LFG’s carbon-fiber body encases robust engineering: a choice of high-performance engines—including a four-valve variant derived from Tuthill’s “K” engine—is paired with a six-speed sequential gearbox and full four-wheel drive with front, center, and rear limited-slip differentials.

The chassis includes five-way adjustable dampers with hydraulic bump stops and BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires, ensuring capability across dunes, gravel, and rocky terrain. The enclosed, climate-controlled cabin features roll-over protection, integrated GPS, long-range fuel capacity, and an Inconel exhaust. For open-air freedom, the cabin converts into a doorless buggy in mere minutes.

Owners will enjoy more than just a rare vehicle; each will be enrolled in a six-year curated driving adventure, beginning in 2027 with an LFG Baja Tour commemorating Meyers Manx’s historic victory in the first Mexican 1000—later known as the Baja 1000. A collaboration rooted in lifelong friendship and shared ambition, the LFG blends Freeman Thomas’s modern design vision with Tuthill’s rally-grade engineering to create a machine that is bold, visceral, and uncompromising.
