A mildly refreshed Traverse debuted and, like the Impala, gets the new corporate Chevy front end styling, which will reportedly pass over to other vehicles in the lineup soon.  The front end has sharp lines and a more harmonious relationship between the headlights and the grille, but it seems to also be a little more generic than the previous generation. The Honda CR-V and Volkswagen Tiguan both have had similar front end themes, and in that regard Chevy has lost some of the instant recognition from down the road graphics that this vehicle originally possessed.  The rear too, while well executed with nicely detailed new taillights, seems very conservative in a crowded market segment.
